In February, we saw the FW16 collection of Elisabetta Franchi during the Milan Fashion Week and that made us curious about this famous Italian fashion designer. Time for a Q & A with the lady herself!

I always start the day… ‘With a cup of coffee in my bed. This is my daily routine; I cannot start my day without my espresso. Then I check all my emails.’

My favorite hotspots in Milan are… ‘A Sunday brunch at “Four Seasons Hotel”. It is my preferred place to have a break when I am in Milan during the weekend. Lunch at “Il Salumaio” is also one of my hotspots, it’is central and they always have everything I want. For dinner: “Assunta Madre,” is one of the best places in Milan, they have great fish dishes.

My golden business advice is… ‘Never give up.’

I prefer to go with my children to…’I have no favourite spot, I could be anywhere with my kids. I can say that my own home is the best place where I like to spend time with them. Nature and my six dogs surround us.’

My favourite outfit is…’A cocktail dress. It is perfect for all occasions.’

I cannot live without…’My family. It is the most important thing in my life.’

I learned a lot of… ‘Myself. My childhood was not easy, so I had to grow up fast, without losing my dreams and having to focus on what I always wanted to be: a designer.’
