The weather shined bright and the stars aligned for Friends of Hudson River Park’s Sweet 16 Gala on beautiful Pier 26 in Hudson River Park. The sublime views of Lower Manhattan mixed perfectly with the evening’s electric energy and festive atmosphere. A boardwalk-inspired cocktail hour lead to an inspired dinner and sensational program featuring a performance by seven-time Grammy Award-winner, Gladys Knight, who moved the whole room with her heartfelt performance that reminded us all; long standing Park champion, Diana Taylor, and Brookfield were honored this year for their steadfast commitment to our Park’s growth and care.

Among the special guests who wish to participate with a concrete charity, the actor Kevin Bacon and his beautiful wife Kyra Sedgwick. The award-winning actress chose to wear a simple item of refined elegance. Drapes and soft clean lines wrapped beauty Kyra with a delicate finesse.
